Planning for 2019
We are currently deep in planning for next year – staffing, class organisation, curriculum plans etc.
Thank you very much to those families that have communicated to us any changes in their circumstances for next year.  If you are moving away from the area, or know of a family moving in, we would love to know sooner rather than later so we can make sure we accommodate everyone.
Beep Beep Day – Road Safety for Juniors
This afternoon the Senior students took our Fantail and Pukeko teams for some traffic safety lessons as part of the national Beep Beep Day.  They each took a particular message and reinforced it with fun activities.  The junior students loved having their big buddies working with them, and our seniors did a great job delivering their activities.  Win, Win!!

Helpers Morning Tea – REMINDER

Board Survey – Out of School Care
The Board is looking for input as they review options for the delivery of  Out of School Care.  They have set up a survey  and want to remind you that the survey will be closed at the end of this week.

Please click on the link below to complete the survey

Working Bee
Thanks to everyone who turned up on the day, you did an awesome job.  The fence line was very overgrown and it needed to be cleared before the fence is replaced in January.

There’s no need to sign up or download an app, just check the list to see whether your phone is capable of receiving the alerts and make sure your updates are up to date.

Emergency Mobile Alerts are messages about emergencies sent by authorised emergency agencies to capable mobile phones.

The alerts are broadcast to all capable phones from targeted cell towers. The alerts can be targeted to areas affected by serious hazards.

If you get an alert, read the message and take it seriously. It will tell you what the emergency is and what to do. It will also tell you which agency sent the message and if needed, where to go for more information.
