In room 12 we have been conducting lots of different experiments.

In this experiment we were testing to see how strong the air pressure around us is.
We used a glass with some water in it and placed a playing card on top. We carefully turned the glass of water upside down and let go of the playing card. The water remained in the glass! Wow!!! Can you work out why?

One of my favourite experiments. It was awesome seeing and holding the cup and seeing it. You must try this experiment – you just need a cup and a card with water.
