High Frequency Word List Practice!!

High frequency words are the basic words used in everyday life, and frequently seen in texts. By learning these words, children will gain a wider vocabulary and be able to read and understand most texts easier.

These links are a fun way for children to practice their words with an adult, a peer and even independently. It can also be played like a game, for example;   “Who can read the word correctly first?”

Once children learn how to read these words correctly, they can learn to spell them. In pairs, they can take turns reading them to each other, while the other spells them out.

In Term 4, Room 7 will be tested on the spelling of these words, and given rewards for achieving their goals.

So, keep Practicing Room 7!!
