Chinese Lantern Competition

In Term One this year,  Room 10 facilitated by Mrs Harries, entered the annual 'Lantern making Competition" held by Asia NZ Foundation.  They worked hard to demonstrate their creativity while also exploring the real links that our school has with the Chinese community.  Their lantern was displayed during the Chinese Festival held at Albert Park in Auckland.

 I am pleased to announce that they year 3 children from Room 10 were successful in securing second place in the year 1-4 category and they should be proud of their success.  Well done!
