News from the Principal

Congratulations
Well done to everyone for they way they participated in the school Athletics on Friday and Monday.  It is great to see the way our students support each other and cheer on their friends.   We stress to our students that our school values should be visible in all the things they do, and that includes sport.  As the school gets larger it gets to be quite a feat to organise a day like this, and time runs out very quickly with so many participants to get through for each event.. In future years we may need to look at running this event over two days.
Good luck to our students representing us at the Cluster Athletics tomorrow,  and a big thank you to Ms Mahoney for her organisation.
End of Year News and Information
As we move towards the end of the year there are many housekeeping and organisational tasks that we need to attend to.  If there are any families who are moving away next year, we need you to contact the office and let us know as this impacts on our planning for class sizes and staffing.
Conversely we also need to know about any expected enrollments for the year, for the same reasons. The significant roll growth and implementation of the school zone means that we are are unlikely to have places in the school for out of zone students that are not siblings of current students.  This may change if there is a change in the pattern of enrollment next year, however at this stage we need to ensure space for our in-zone students.
We have a lot of end of year events that are still to come in these last two weeks so please make sure you check the school calendar and notices on the website, and Facebook for reminders.
On the last day of the term we will be sending home reports for all year 4-6 students, and anniversary reports for some Y0-3 students.  There will also be information about 2018 room placement, stationery lists and some Year Level trip information for senior students.
A reminder that the school closes early on Friday 15th at 12.30pm.
Next Wednesday will be our final newsletter for the term, and the year.
